Destiny seems to have become a popular theme of late. We especially love to have others prophesy about our purpose and calling.

But it is far easier to imagine the journey than it is to walk it. We love the end! We love the thought of arriving at our destination.

Unfortunately 'the destination never looks like the beginning'. We can inadvertently bypass the path because we are overly focused on the destination. There is a reason we are told to not despise small beginnings. It is because the pursuit of a great ending causes us to look for a great beginning. Tragically, the very things that make for that GREAT ending, were small and insignificant beginnings.
