The absence of revelation leaves man in a tenuous circumstance. This is clearly depicted in the building of the second temple. When a group of zealous Hebrews understood the need to build the dwelling place of God, they put their hands to work. Once the foundation was laid, there was both weeping and rejoicing. Those with a partial revelation were satisfied and rejoiced. But those who possessed a wider perspective wept loudly. Today, God is calling for the building of a house. RIGHTEOUS FOUNDATIONS
As the world enters lawless times the calling of the Church will become increasingly distinct and vital. At the same time God will use these periods to distinguish between those expressions of Christianity who perform the will of their Master and those that have become superfluous and meaningless.
